Dr. Karin Promoted to Clinical Professor

Dr. Mardi Karin has been promoted to the rank of Clinical Professor effective February 16, 2023.
"We are delighted with Dr. Mardi Karin’s well-deserved promotion!" said Division of General Surgery Chief Dr. Electron Kebebew. "We look forward to her continued cutting-edge contribution to Breast Surgical Oncology and her outstanding care of our patients."
Karin is known for working closely with her colleagues in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery on procedures including nipple-sparing mastectomy and Lympha for lymphedema prevention.
She attended the UCLA David Geffen School Of Medicine for Medical School before completing her General Surgery Residency at the University of Iowa.
