AAES Selects Dr. Seib for Visiting Professor Program

Dr. Carolyn Seib
Dr. Carolyn Seib has been selected by the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AAES) to participate in their new Visiting Professor Program. The program was created earlier this year and designed to increase the national visibility of rising stars in endocrine surgery by giving them an opportunity to present Grand Rounds at one of the country’s premier institutions. Dr. Seib was selected by the Career Development and Leadership Committee and will visit Newton-Wellseley and Massachusetts General Hospital during the 2022-2023 academic year.
Dr. Seib is an Assistant Professor in the Division of General Surgery's Endocrine Surgery Section. She anticipates speaking about improving surgical decision-making for older adults considering low-risk surgical interventions to prevent morbidity, which she has recently published several papers on:
