Dr. Gillon Joins Stanford

Dr. Jean Gillon has joined Stanford's Division of Vascular Surgery as a Clinical Associate Professor. Gillon's appointment began on the first of the year and she started seeing patients this week at our Portola Valley Clinic. Dr. Gillon will be developing her lower extremity vein practice with her expertise in treating Venus reflux using sclerotherapy, phlebectomy, and ablation.

"Dr. Gillon has had a busy clinical vein practice on the Peninsula for the past 25 years," said Division Chief Dr. Jason Lee. "We are excited to bring her on to develop a larger venous practice here at Stanford."

Gillon was a Plastic and Reconstructive surgery resident at Stanford before transferring to Brown and completing her residency in general surgery. She then went on to the University of California San Francisco for a fellowship in vascular surgery. Gillon is board certified in both general and vascular surgery and is an American College of Surgeons fellow.
