Dr. Arya to Chair AVAS Diversity and Inclusion Committee

Dr. Shipra Arya has been chosen to chair the Association of VA Surgeons' (AVAS) new Diversity and Inclusion Committee. According to a release from the AVAS, the goal of the committee is to "develop programs to promote equity and inclusion, provide an avenue for safe and meaningful dialogue within AVAS."
Arya is Chief of Vascular Surgery at the Palo Alto VA and an Associate Professor of Surgery in Stanford's Division of Vascular Surgery.
