Three Stanford Surgery Faculty Recognized at 2024 ME Awards

Three members of Stanford Surgery’s faculty were recognized at the 2024 Medical Education Awards Ceremony.

Drs. Byrne Lee of General Surgery and Clifford Sheckter of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery both received the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching.

Dr. Martin Bronk of General Surgery received the Oscar Salvatierra Award for Exceptional Service to Stanford Medical Students and the School of Medicine.

    Dr. Sheckter Receives ABA Peter Brigham Award

    Dr. Clifford Sheckter received the Peter Brigham Award at the American Burn Association (ABA) Annual Meeting which took place April 9-12, 2024 in Chicago, IL. He won the award for his work on Home Oxygen Therapy, a treatment that provides additional oxygen to individuals recovering from burn injuries.
