Dr. Korndorffer Elected to SAGES Board

Dr. Jim Korndorffer, Stanford Surgery's Vice Chair of Education, has been elected to the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons' (SAGES) Board of Directors.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to serve the society in a more prominent way and help SAGES with its mission to improve the quality of patient care through education, research, innovation and leadership, principally in gastrointestinal and endoscopic surgery," said Korndorffer.

With over 6500 members, SAGES is one of the largest surgical societies. The board is made up of 40 members.
