Dr. George Wins Subspecialty Young Investigators Award

Vascular Surgery Resident Dr. Elizabeth George won the 2019 Subspecialty Young Investigators Award from the Association for Academic Surgery (AAS). The award is open to residents or fellows in Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Orthopedics, Urology, Plastics and Otolaryngology.
"The award sponsors my attendance to the AAS Fall Courses which are designed to inspire young academic surgeons and facilitate a lifelong career in academic surgery," said George. "Last year I attended the Annual Fundamentals of Surgical Research Course, and this year I will attend the Annual Early Career Development Course."
