Journal of Surgical Research selects Dr. Tennakoon as an Associate Statistics Editor

Dr. Lakshika Tennakoon has been selected as an associate statistics editor for the Journal of Surgical Research (JSR). JSR is the Official Publication of the Association for Academic Surgery and the Society of Asian Academic Surgeons. According to their website, the journal focuses on surgical basic science, clinical investigation, health services research, and education studies. Tennakoon will be the fifth member of the statistics team at JSR led by Mazen S. Zenati, MD, MPH, PhD from the University of Pittsburgh.
This prestigious appointment recognizes Tennakoon’s outstanding contributions to surgical science and biostatistics, commitment to academic excellence, and dedication to advancing knowledge in the field. Tennakoon is a clinical epidemiologist working in the Division of General Surgery’s Acute Care Surgery Section.
