Dept. Welcomes 2025 Surgical Residency Intern Class

The National Residency Match Program announced today who would be attending Stanford Surgery. The department welcomed 14 interns with General Surgery admitting eight categorical interns, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery admitting four, and Vascular Surgery admitting two.
"The selection process for our incoming residents was rigorous and competitive, and we are grateful for the hard work and dedication of everyone involved. We received a large pool of exceptional candidates from across the country, and the decision-making process was a difficult one," wrote Dr. Paige Fox, residency program director for plastic and reconstructive surgery, in her announcement to the department.
The new intern class is expected to start in June 2025.
