Dr. Knowlton Selected to Serve on NIH ODHS Study Section

After serving as an ad hoc reviewer for the past two years, Dr. Lisa Knowlton was selected as a Standing Member of the National Institutes of Health Organization and Delivery of Health Services Study Section (ODHS) for Healthcare Delivery and Methodologies Integrated Review Group (HDM), Center for Scientific Review (CSR). Her term extends through 2029.
The notification of her selection read: "You have been nominated because of your demonstrated competence and achievement in your scientific discipline as evidenced by the quality of your research accomplishments, publications in scientific journals, and other significant scientific activities, achievements, and honors."
According to the NIH website, the ODHS study section "reviews applications focused on the organization and delivery of health services from a systems level, including health care financing, insurance, access, utilization, and the provision of health services at the population level."
Dr. Lisa Knowlton is an associate professor in our Division of General Surgery's Acute Care Surgery section. Her research lab (https://med.stanford.edu/knowlton-lab.html) is funded by the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), the National Institute of Health (NIMHD) through R21 and R01 grants, and the California Violence Prevention Center.
