Kidney Transplant Team Receives ISP Star Award

Stanford's Kidney Transplant Team is a recipient of this year's Integrated Strategic Plan Star Awards. According to their website, "This honor recognizes individuals and teams from the Stanford Medicine community who, through their extraordinary efforts, embody the strategic priorities of our ISP: Value Focused, Digitally Driven, and Uniquely Stanford."

"The Kidney Transplant team, under Dr. [Stephan] Busque and Dr. [John] Scandling's leadership, has worked collaboratively and diligently to achieve and deliver excellence in patient care. By continuously identifying opportunities to improve patient care, the Kidney Transplant team has established itself as one of the highest-performing teams in the United States based on several metrics," wrote the award committee.

Eight other teams were also recognized this year including the Clinical Effectiveness Target Based Care Core Team, Clinical Virology Team, Emergency Department Teams, MyHealth – Hospital View Team, Network Access Optimization Team, Stanford Cancer Center’s Tobacco Treatment Service Team, SURF (System Utilization Research for Stanford Medicine) Team, and UHA/SHC Dermatology Team.
