Dr. Forrester Wins SIS Foundation Junior Faculty Clinical Research Fellowship Award

Dr. Joe Forrester received the Surgical Infection Society (SIS) Foundation's Junior Faculty Clinical Research Fellowship Award. The grant will fund his proposal “Using species distribution models to predict the distribution of infection with MRSA and C.difficile in the United States."
"The impetus behind this project was driven by my experience at the CDC, and the need for figuring out better ways to do infection surveillance," said Forrester. Forrester worked for the CDC during his professional development years during residency.
We look forward to seeing him present his research findings at the SIS's annual meeting in 2022.
