DSI 2.0 Selects Dr. Alobuia

Dr. Wilson Alobuia has been selected to participate in the Diverse Surgeons Initiative (DSI) 2.0.
The DSI 2.0 program consists of two, 2.5-day training sessions at J&J/Ethicon Headquarters in Cincinnati, OH and is open to ethnically underrepresented in medicine general surgery residents in their third or fourth clinical year. According to the program's website, the sessions will include "didactic sessions, clinical scenarios, laparoscopic and open surgical techniques training with animate and cadaver labs" with an emphasis on minimally-invasive surgical techniques.
DSI 2.0 is jointly sponsored by The Society of Black Academic Surgeons and Ethicon (J&J).
