Chandra Receives VCA Award

Dr. Venita Chandra received the 2021 Vascular Career Advancement (VCA) Award. According to a tweet from the awarding organization VIVA (Vascular Interventional Advances), Chandra and fellow winner Dr. Yoshimitsu Soga "have shown outstanding leadership in the field of vascular medicine and intervention" and were "selected for their dedication to a philosophy of multidisciplinary vascular care and improving outcomes of patients with vascular disease." The award is presented in collaboration with LINC (Leipzig Interventional Course).
Dr. Chandra's research focuses on limb salvage. In addition to being director of Stanford's Advanced Wound Center, she is also director of the Vascular Surgery Residency and Fellowship programs.
