Dr. Pugh Elected to ABS Council

Dr. Carla Pugh has been elected to the American Board of Surgery (ABS) Council. Her term will start in July 2020 and will last for six years.
Dr. Pugh will join fellow Stanford Surgery Professor Dr. David Spain, who was elected to the council in September 2017, and Department Chair Dr. Mary Hawn, who serves as one of the ABS Directors.
Dr. Pugh is a Professor in the Division of General Surgery and Director of the Technology Enabled Clinical Improvement Center.
