Dr. Fox Appointed PRS Residency PD

September 30, 2019

The ACGME has officially approved the appointment of Dr. Paige Fox to the position of Residency Program Director (PD) for Stanford's Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRS).

"Over the past year, we have looked both internally and externally to fill this critical position," said PRS Chair Dr. James Chang in an announcement to the division. "Based on feedback from residents, faculty, alumni, and external advisors, Dr. Fox was clearly the choice to lead the residency program."

Dr. Fox is an MD/PhD surgeon-scientist who graduated from the Stanford plastic surgery residency in 2014 and then completed a hand & microvascular fellowship in 2015.  She has been on faculty since 2015 and has served as Associate Program Director since 2017.

"All who know Dr. Fox can attest to her fairness, her organizational acumen, and her sincere concern for resident education and well-being," said Dr. Chang.
